I am excited to announce I will be playing a solo set opening for Tin Bird Choir at Steel City in Phoenixville, PA on August 13th. TBC is a great folk rock band from Berks County lead by husband and wife Eric and Heather Hurlock.

I am very happy to announce that I am one of the four winners of the 2011 Philadelphia Songwriters Project songwriting competition. I really want to thank everyone who came to support me and the band at this show, it really means allot to me. Special thanks to Dena Marchiony who did an amazing job at putting this event together and all of the volunteers, judges and artists who helped make it happen. And congratulations to my fellow contest winners. Griz, Katie Barbato and Ginger Coyle.

I have been selected as one of 12 finalists in the Philadelphia Songwriters Project annual songwriting competition. I am excited and honored to have been selected. The finals show is Sunday, May 22nd at The Blockly in Philadelphia. The show is 3:30 – 6:30. Audience members will be part of the vote, so I will be asking for everyone’s support at this show. I will be joining an awesome cast Philly songwriters this Friday at Connie’ Ric-Rac for a solo performance. Johnny Miles, Joshua Park, Cowmuddy and Ross Bellenoit are all playing sets. Johnny and Ross both recently released new albums as well.
