I have done a number of shows if the last year or so as an trio with Brad and Bethany. I love this configuration, so when I got invited to do an On The Hill session earlier this year, I knew I wanted to record as the trio. I recorded this session with Mike Batchelor and Jason Stewart at Mikes home in Lafayette Hill, PA. There are five tracks and two videos that came out of it. We captured some great performances and Mike and Jason did a fantastic job with it.
Check out the videos and the Q&A at the Kettle Pot Tracks site, and the audio on their BandCamp page.
Also, next week I will be playing a set at the Chop & Wood Fest at the Moonlight Forest. This is one of my favorite places in the world and there is a super awesome line up this year.
We have a couple shows coming up…
May 11th we will be opening for Ben Arnold at Steel City in Phoenixville. Tickets.
May 16th we’re at The Fire with Up The Chain, Barren Wells and Jeanette Lynne.
We had a great time at the World Cafe Live last week, thank you all who made it to the show. And thanks to the Philadelphia Folksong Society and WXPN for their support on this one.
Here are some great photos by John Hayes.
On March 22nd the Philadelphia Folksong Society will welcome the Joe D’Amico Band to the World Cafe Live in Philadelphia for a headlining show. Joining us that night will be two of Philly’s finest, August John Lutz II (of Levee Drivers) and Foxhound. We are super excited for this show. Tickets are available here. There is a $2 discount for PFS members.
We have two great shows coming up this week.
